Job Application Tracker is committed to protecting your privacy. This extension is designed to store all your data locally on your own device. We do not operate servers that collect, receive, or store your personal information.
When you explicitly click the extension icon on a job posting page, the extension reads:
This data is collected only on demand — when you click the extension icon. The extension does not monitor your browsing activity, read pages passively, or collect any data without your direct action.
All application data is stored locally in your browser using the Chrome
storage.local API and the companion web app's localStorage.
Data never leaves your device except to sync between the extension and your personal
Job Tracker dashboard (see below).
The companion dashboard at job-tracker-delta-seven.vercel.app is hosted on Vercel. When you visit the dashboard, standard web server access logs (IP address, timestamp, browser user-agent) may be created by Vercel in accordance with Vercel's Privacy Policy. The extension itself does not send your job application data to Vercel or any other third-party server.
chrome.storage.local for duplicate detection and queued syncing.
We do not sell, share, rent, or transmit your data to any third parties. Your job application data remains entirely under your control on your own device.
You can delete individual applications at any time from the Job Tracker dashboard. To remove all data, clear the extension's storage via Chrome Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cached images and files, or uninstall the extension.
This extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
